Don and Maureen Kennedy
In 1984, Don and Maureen Kennedy acquired a small coffee-roasting business in Greystanes and seized the opportunity and began to create something big. Since then, the family business has increased 10-fold and outgrown its premises three times!
Don learned how to roast coffee in the traditional Italian way and that, coupled with his friendly and laid back style, helped La Casa develop into what it is today – a unique blend of traditional friendly values with superior fresh roasted coffee. We have restaurants who have been with us for the whole 25 years which we believe is a testament to how this unique blend works.
Don’s brother Peter, and brother-in-law Tony, manage the production and have decades of roasting, blending and packaging experience between them.
The Next GenerationThe Kennedy children have grown up within the family coffee roasting business and have absorbed the values of their father, for producing outstanding coffee and service in what has become a family tradition. Louise, Therase, Brett and Nicole, are all involved in La Casa del Caffe and are passionate about producing the very best quality coffee.
